Beyonce Knowles started her musical career with a bang as one-third of the world’s best-selling female group of all time, Destiny’s Child. Since retiring from the group, the pop princess has embarked on her own solo endeavors, meeting tremendous success along the way. I Am… Sasha Fierce was released on November 18, 2OO8. "Sasha Fierce", according to Beyonce, is a stage persona she adopts whenever she performs. Beyonce will be kicking off her 44-date I Am… Tour in North America, beginning in March. "I've been working on this tour for eight months [...] I've been rehearsing and trying to make sure I put my set list together. Right now I'm anxious and I can't sleep -- I'll be wanting to be at rehearsal. That's the only thing I can think about. But I can't wait."
