What lengths would you go to to get tickets to a gredat concert?
Trying like hell to get tix to Elton John Billy Joel tour in Philadelphia...am I going to be one of those freaks who pays 1000 a ticket or should i calm down.?

There's tickets to be had for just over face value. The problem is that face value is $200 a ticket. Great floor seats for $300 + s&h.
How far I'd go depends on who it is. I've seen Elton John and Billy Joel separately before. So it wouldn't be a big deal for me to miss that one.
If I remember correctly. There's a cable company in Philly that is sponsoring the show. Maybe there's someone in the company who can get their hands on tickets for you. For me, I have a friend in 'the business' who I just emailed. If they come to NY I'm sure I can get tickets.
So I wouldn't go too far. For me personally, I don't think anyone is worth more than $300 a ticket for good floor seats. For $1000 a ticket I want him in my backyard!
