Adam Lambert Tickets – For Your Entertainment: The Glam Nation Tour
If you're looking to be entertained this summer, look no further than Adam Lambert's inaugural solo tour as the American Idol alum cruises through the nation in support of For Your Entertainment. The controversial pop star has jumpstarted his spring fling with several sporadic dates through May and will officially launch the 19 city jaunt June 4th in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. The tour will see the "Whataya Want from Me" singer performing in theater and casinos throughout the country, hitting cities like Toledo, Columbus, Milwaukee, Atlantic City, Kansas City, Costa Mesa and more intermittently through September.
Last year's For Your Entertainment immediately caught the world's attention and went well beyond most people's expectations – as Adam Lambert tickets began to storm http://www.stubhub.com.
Runner-up during 2009's season of Fox's hit reality show American Idol, Lambert has made more of a name for himself than overall winner Kris Allen since the show stopped airing. Hungry young teenagers anxiously anticipated the new release that was said to have Lambert working with Lady Gaga and producers Greg Wells, Ryan Tedder and Max Martin. When the title track appeared as Lambert's first single, he heard screams from around the world. Yet it was screams of horror that followed just a few weeks after his 200,000 debut during the 2009 American Music Awards performance.
Much like the Britney Spears-Madonna kiss, Lambert was caught smooching a male keyboardist that threw FCC and the conservative Parents Television Council in a rage. As complaints started to round up, Lambert's next few television appearances were cancelled while others were being booked.
The controversial moves only helped to ignite Lambert's career and showcase his knack for the uncanny. Much like his debut album proves, there is a lot of fanatical scandal up Lambert's sleeves. And much like the jump in sales Spears got from her infamous kiss, so did Lambert – a move that eventually enabled him to take on a series of solo concerts before the year was up. Now he's got openers in Idol alum Allison Iraheta and Aussie star Orianthi as Lambert's "Whataya Want from Me" still sits pretty on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Still in the Top 30, the hit penned by Pink is the second from Lambert's November release and has been his best Billboard success to date.
"I hope the audience will be able to escape for a few hours and fall into a world full of glam, drama and excitement," Lambert says about his Glam Nation Tour on American Idol's website. "And I would love everyone to come away with a new appreciation for the music on my album."
Already an international sensation, once Lambert performs his hits for fans on stage they'll be no turning back. Managed by American Idol founder Simon Fuller, the oftentimes harsh judge had nothing but praise for the Los Angeles-bred singer. "Adam is one of the most exciting artists I have ever seen live on stage," he said on the Idol website. "As great as he has been on the 'American Idols Live' summer shows, this tour is going to surpass anything he's done before. I think his millions of fans will remember this tour for the rest of their lives."
