Arizona Cardinals History And Tickets
The Arizona Cardinals had quite an interesting line up for the 2009 season. Division standings put them at the top of the chart with 10 wins, 6 losses and a percent of .625. This was ahead of San Francisco, Seattle and St. Louis. From the top five defensive plays to the top five offensive touchdowns, the 2009 season was nothing to sneer at by a long shot. The offensive depth chart first place offensive line included Larry Fitzgerald (WR1), Jeremy Bridges (LT), Reggie Wells (LG), Lyle Sendlein (C), Deuce Lutui (RG), Levi Brown (RT), Anthony Becht (TE), Anquan Boldin (WR1), Kurt Warner (QB), Tim Hightower (RB) and Dan Kreider (FB).
The defense lineup was strong with Calais Campbell, Bryan Robinson, Darnell Dockett, Chike Okeafor, Karlos Dansby, Gerald Hayes, Clark Haggans, Bryant McFadden, Adrian Wilson, Antrel Rolle and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. At the wildcard playoffs, the Arizona Cardinals took on the Green Bay Packers and won 51-45. Warner passing totaled 379 in the game. Wells rushing was 91 yards and Steve Breaston's receiving total was 125. Next were divisional playoffs and again Warner brought the passing yards to the table with a total of 205. Hightower held the distinction for rushing with 87 yards and Fitzgerald had 77 receiving yards.
Although the Arizona Cardinals weren't able to bring home the divisional playoffs victory, it was a valiant show of courage against the New Orleans Saints, who brought their A game and beat the Cardinals 45-14. Perhaps one of the equally fascinating games the Arizona Cardinals play was on October 18 against the Seattle Seahawks. There must have been something in the air that day because the total team stats for the game for the Cardinals was 344 net yards with 2 turnovers. Critics argued there shouldn't have been any turnovers at all but the final score speaks for itself and it said a 27-3 victory for the Arizona Cardinals.
