A question about General Admission concert tickets?

I would appreciate some help from someone who often attends GA concerts.

I recently ordered tickets to a Rise Against concert in Cincinnati, and it's obviously general admission seating. On the "Section/Aisle" part of the tickets, it says "GA PIT". Now, generally speaking, don't you have to just arrive early to get a place in the Pit? I thought they weren't available online, but instead were given to the first 200 or so people who arrived with tickets?

Does this mean the tickets are already for a place in the Pit, or must we still arrive early to get places there? If it makes any difference at all, the venue is the PNC Pavilion.

The whole first 200 people thing doesn't make much sense to me. If your ticket says GA PIT then that is where you will be. I mean you bought the ticket and that's what it says, its not like they can make you go somewhere else if you think about it. I've never heard of people not getting onto the floor when they had the tickets. But if I were you I would still go a little early to get a good spot, not as fun in the back.
