NFL Preseason Odds Week 1: Bucs vs Dolphins - 7:05pm EST
NFL preseason betting odds for week 1 on Saturday night will include an all-Florida affair as the Miami Dolphins host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from Sun Life stadium. While most observers and NFL betting handicappers discount preseason results as far as what they mean towards the bigger picture of the regular season Tampa Bay running back Earnest Graham disagrees about the importance of tonight's week 1 NFL preseason game.
"It's definitely a big deal," said Graham. "A team is built from the bottom to the top. Guys want to go out and play well in all facets of the game, and that includes winning. Winning is a big deal." After a 3-13 season in NFL odds with one of the youngest and most inexperienced rosters in the league the Bucs will be looking to leap forward with significant improvement in 2010. Worse yet the Bucs looked disorganized and unprofessional far more often than not. So far in camp there has been marked improvement. "Right now we're playing with a lot less mistakes," said Graham. "Our confidence on both sides of the ball is high."
Defensive linemen Gerald McCoy and Brian Price have bulked up what is hoped to be an improved unit. "It's really exciting to see your new toys go out there and play," said Bucs head coach Raheem Morris. "We've got a bunch of ‘em." Miami head coach Tony Sparano said that evaluation of players is his preseason priority. "I have four preseason games right now and I can't find enough time for some of the players that I have to see," said Sparano. Miami has gone 6-1-1 against the spread during the NFL preseason under head coach Tony Sparano. The Bucs went 1-3 against the spread in exhibition action under Raheem Morris in his rookie season as head coach last year.
