Maroon 5 Tickets – Maroon 5 Touring in Support of Upcoming New Album

It's been a few years since Maroon 5 has released any new tunes, but that will all change in September. Billboard.com reports that Maroon 5 will release its third album, Hands All Over, on Sept. 21. Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine recently chatted about the forthcoming album with Billboard.com, saying that Hands All Over "kind of hearkens back to the spirit behind the first record (2002's quadruple platinum Songs About Jane) and is less like the second one (2007's double platinum It Won't Be Soon Before Long)--or is a combination of both, the best elements of both all in one." Whatever album Hands All Over is like, fans are just happy to have some new music from Maroon 5!

Maroon 5 recently entered the studio with veteran producer Mutt Lange--known for his work with AC/DC, Def Leppard, Shania Twain and Nickelback, among others--to work on the forthcoming album. Levine told Billboard.com that he was greatly influenced by the Lange-produced Def Leppard albums growing up and gushed about the producer, "He keeps to himself and doesn't necessarily come out of the woodwork unless he really wants to work on something. And he's an amazing guy. He thinks huge; he wants to reach everybody in every country ... And we don't think about things like that. I just think about how I'm feeling at any particular moment or that I want to express musically. So I think he took this music and really magnified it bigger than it ever could have been before."

Mutt Lange's influence is evident on the hard-rocking title track, while Hands All Over also samples 1960s pop (on "Stutter," a track which Levine says is "not like anything you've heard from us before") and country (on "Out of Goodbyes," which features a cameo by Lady Antebellum). Maroon 5 began working on their forthcoming new album while touring in support of It Won't Be Soon Before Long. "It was a really long process," Levine admitted to Billboard.com before explaining, "Some people can go in and bang out a record in a month, and that's a totally valid process. But for some reason I want to make sure no stone goes unturned and every single possible idea is brought to the foreground. That's just how we like to do things."

Although Maroon 5 has yet to finalize the track listing for the forthcoming album Hands All Over, fans with Maroon 5 tickets from StubHub.com can hear new songs when the band embarks on a month-long tour this summer.

Owl City, VV Brown, Guster, Kris Allen and Ryan Cumming will open for Maroon 5 on their upcoming road trip, which will launch from Saratoga, N.Y. on July 30. Speaking about injecting their set list with new tracks, Levine told Billboard.com, "People are waiting for it, and it'll be really nice to have new material to play, 'cause God knows we're sick of playing the old stuff--and it's going to revive the old stuff even more."
