To be able to visit as many things as possible during your holiday in Chicago you can consider riding a bicycle, using the buses, the taxis, the trains or the trolleys which are free but run only in the Loop and the Near North neighborhoods. In terms of accommodation, there are several budget priced places but most of them outside the downtown area.
