Club Level Ringling
I need field trip ideas for philosophy club?
I need ideas of trips and speakers for my college philosophy club. we are in southwest florida, so we are doing the MOSI, the holocaust museum and the ringling museum. I need more ideas though! we have a whole year to cover! I need speakers to come to the school, field trips and even topic or event ideas. Let me know your thoughts. Not all of the members are majors in philosophy, and its undergrad level for the most part. So keep it pretty basic please.
Field trips are founded on a unstated premise that a metaphysical presence haunts the actual world. History does not linger in the things of the world. I would bring speakers in to fully discover philosophy.
